More Detailed Information on Copyrights
Before the Change
The stock images and videos provided by VideoStew can be used for both commercial and non-commercial purposes. The copyright of the content created through Tubloo belongs to the user and last eternally. Even after the end of the paid usage period for Tubloo, the previously created content can be used for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. The same applies to content created during the use of the free plan. In the event of a copyright infringement lawsuit, the contents stored on the Tubloo servers and the contents under dispute are proven to be identical, thus validating the user's copyright. Therefore, it can be difficult to prove rights if the video extracted through Tubloo is altered. (e.g., when a part of the video downloaded from Tubloo is cut and used) However, if the size of the video extracted through Tubloo is not changed and additional elements are inserted or filters were applied using photo/video editing tools, the user's rights can be proven. (e.g., adding separate sticker images or shapes, adding text) Tubloo provides 3 million stock images/videos. However, none of the images/videos provided by Tubloo can be used or resold on their own.
After the Change
Users using VideoStew are given all or part of the rights to the directly provided stock library depending on their usage purposes (personal/commercial). The copyright of the content created through VideoStew belongs to the user and does not expire. Contents created during VideoStew's paid usage period can still be used even after the end of the paid usage period. However, this does not grant all rights to other resources included in the content, and you must own or have lawful rights to all resources(all videos/images/background music) uploaded by the user before announcing the project created using VideoStew. The video/image/background music/sound effect libraries directly provided by VideoStew are CC0 licensed contents that can be used regardless of commercial/non-commercial purposes. However, some libraries are limited to personal/non-commercial purposes only, and separate agreement procedures are required before using those libraries. Tubloo does not take responsibility for any loss or damage caused by the user's copyright mistakes.
Clarifying Service Usage Fees and Refund Policies
Before the Change
You can use the service through a monthly subscription, and there is no limit to usage after purchase, but there may be functional differences depending on the plan you purchased. Full refunds are available within 30 days after subscription, but refunds are not possible after that. If a customer who applied for a monthly subscription cancels the subscription, the subscription automatically ends at the end of the purchase period and will not be re-billed.
After the Change
You can choose between a fixed-price(monthly/yearly subscription) and usage-based tiered pricing(monthly/yearly subscription) depending on your usage purpose. Usually, when using the white-label solution via API, a usage-based tiered pricing is applied. Next is the refund regulation. Users can request 100% refund for the last month's payment after cancellation of the automatic monthly subscription, regardless of usage. For annual payments, the refund amount will be calculated based on the originally provided amount minus the discount rate. The annual payment comes with a basic discount rate of 50%. Therefore, if you request a refund after 6 months of usage, there is no remaining refund amount. Restrictions may be imposed on usage if there are instances of abusing the refund regulations following Tubloo's internal review.
